Children’s Books Help Ease Anxiety about Dental Visits
Books are a great way to explain an unknown or scary topic, such as a trip to the dentist, to a child. If your child is experiencing anxiety about coming to see us for their regular checkup (or if it’s their first visit), consider reading them a book about going to the dentist to help ease their fears.
Familiar characters, fun illustrations and an easy to understand story can make the experience less stressful for both first-time and seasoned patients.
We’ve gathered a few of our favorite dental books for kids. We encourage you to check out one (or more!) of these books and read them with your child before you visit us.
